Software and Equipment for Plant Variety Protection

span class="lead">UPOV members may offer software and equipment they have developed for plant variety protection, subject to any specified conditions (e.g. software provided without installation or on-going maintenance, etc.).

This information may be useful for UPOV members looking for automation and digital solutions for the different steps of plant variety protection.

Jointly developed software, open-source tools, or packages based on commercial software can also be shared, provided intellectual property rights are respected and conditions for supply are clearly stated.

A list of software developed by UPOV members made available to the other members of the Union is outlined in document UPOV/INF/16 on the following categories:
    5.1 UPOV's website and its online services and products use cookies* to offer an improved browsing experience, including features such as authentication, language settings, as well as continuous enhancement of UPOV's services and products. For the latter purpose, UPOV may also use various web analytics tools to collect, among others, the WIPO account username (for logged-in users), IP address, UPOV websites visited, the time, duration and date of the visit.
